FIT Uganda Business training department
recognizes the prevailing business development challenges in most organisations
that have emerged as a consequence of technological advances, knowledge gaps and
globalization. It further acknowledges the need to assist in developing human
resources whose knowledge, skills and practices are compliant to the changing
demands on effective organisations by addressing clients’ training needs for
both private and public sector on a commercially viable basis.
The department has experienced trainers, who handle all
applications and management issues as well as carry out trainings and develop
new products. The department also works with a pool of associate trainers and
consultants who add expertise in a wide variety of specialisations.

Training Methods
- Participatory
classroom-based
sessions with one or two excursions; - An integrated part
of
the course and learning approach is the individual Action Plan (AP). The
AP
will offer each course participant an opportunity to focus on a single
well
defined subject of relevance to his/her organisation and prepare a
short action
plan for implementation; - Others will include;
structured role plays, brain storming, theatre, facilitated group
discussions,
lecture, case studies, and demonstrations.
